Formelwand, a screen print installation for the IFW in Dresden, deals with physical forms. The realisation included a competition among the children of the institute’s employees. They were asked to write various physical forms as beautifully as possible by hand. I selected the most exciting versions to enlarge and transfer with silkscreen print on aluminium plates. Because of this unique cooperation with young children, Formelwand became an integrated artwork in the institutional context.
